MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMPS

NMSMBS DAY CAMPS - CAMPS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL AGES AND ABILITIES

We have 4 Mountain bike camps left as part of the New Mexico Elementary, Middle and High School Mountain Bike Series (New Mexico Schools' Moutain Bikes Series, NMSMBS).  It is not necessary to participate in the series in order to register, benefit, or enjoy these camps.

Camp: Each day of camp a new set of skills will be taught in the morning and afternoon. After each skills lessons, students will practive these new skills on a guided ride.


4/4    Camp #1 - Everything from riding skills to bike maintenance, nutrition and setting training/racing goals 
         LOCATION: Elena Gallegos Picnic Area.  Look for white Active Knowledge van by the Shelters on the north side
         TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm
         COST:   Free for under 18 - ADULTS $65

4/25  Camp #2 - Specifics of descending, attacking and how to win Online Registration
          LOCATION: Elena Gallegos Picnic Area.  Look for white Active Knowledge van by the Shelters on the north side
         TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm -12yrs and older depending on ability   9:00-12:00 - 12yrs and under depending on ability
         COST:   $40 18yrs and under - ADULTS $65


5/2    Camp #3 - Where when and how to attack your opponents, race strategies Online Registration
5/16  Camp #4 - Training and racing to your maximum potential, how to set up a years calender Online Registration

Training camps  2,3 & 4 will be held from 9:00am-3:00pm. Cost $40 per camp for under 19yrs, $65 per camp adults, bring your own lunch, drinking water and snacks will be available.
